Simon Marais Mathematics Competition

University registrations for the 10th annual Simon Marais Mathematics Competition are open.

The Simon Marais Mathematics Competition was established in 2017. It is an annual competition that aims to Encourage creative mathematical problem-solving among undergraduate students, identify talented students across many regions of the world, including the Asia-Pacific​, forge links between academics involved in the Competition, and promote healthy competition among students as well as between universities.

Organisers hope to have over 15 Australian Universities participating on Saturday 10 October 2026. To register your uni, nominate a local academic coordinator in your maths or STEM department and email admin@simonmarais.org to receive a link to the registration form. University entries close Friday 31 July.
