MATRIX: Applied and Computational Complex Analysis

The Applied and Computational Complex Analysis workshop at MATRIX is a one-week research event that brings together mathematicians working in complex analysis and its applications. It emphasises links with fluid mechanics, differential equations, probability theory, Brownian motion, Laplacian growth models, conformal mapping, numerical methods, and asymptotic methods. Unlike a traditional conference, it mainly encourages collaboration through group discussions and problem-solving sessions. Researchers at different career stages will work together on open problems. This event provides a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas, build community, develop new research directions, and strengthen international collaborations in both theoretical and applied aspects of complex analysis.
