This in-person conference brings together the leading international and Australian mathematicians, Early Careers Researchers and PhD students in harmonic analysis and partial differential equations for the dissemination of the most recent developments in these fields, exchanging ideas, and fostering and strengthening collaborations. This conference will focus on new advances in harmonic analysis and applications, especially those to which Professor Jill Pipher has made lasting contributions. These include multiparameter harmonic analysis, theory of elliptic & parabolic equations, function space and weighted theory. The conference will also feature short talks by early career researchers and PhD students.

Professor Jill Pipher is a world-leading mathematician in the field of harmonic analysis and partial differential equations, elected as member of American Academy of Arts and Sciences 2015. Jill is also very well-known by her outstanding leadership and contribution to the mathematical community: she served as President of the American Mathematical Society from 2019-2021, and has been the Vice President Research at Brown University since 2017.

This workshop is supported by AMSI and AustMS through the AMSI-AustMS Workshop Funding program, and benefits from the SMRI International Visitor Program.
