A conference honouring the mathematical legacy of Craig Hodgson

Geometry and topology in low dimensions are areas of strength in Australia. This workshop will bring together international and national experts and emerging researchers to share ideas and discuss new developments. A focus is around the mathematics of Craig Hodgson, which has been highly influential internationally. This includes hyperbolic geometry, computational topology, quantum topology, triangulations, deformations of metrics and effective changes of geometry. This workshop will encourage collaboration and interaction among those influenced by Hodgson’s work. To further strengthen the impact of this meeting, we are planning an open problem session and a public lecture by acclaimed expositor Henry Segerman.

This workshop is supported by AMSI and AustMS through the AMSI-AustMS Workshop Funding program, and benefits from the SMRI International Visitor Program.
