AMSI warmly acknowledges the outstanding contributions of Emeritus Professor Phil Broadbridge to the Institute and the mathematical sciences community over the past two decades.
As AMSI Director from 2005–2009, Phil secured major funding that established key higher education programs and APR.Intern, while also leading national and international initiatives that elevated AMSI’s profile.
His commitment has continued through vital support during leadership transitions and long-term service on the Research Committee (formerly Scientific Advisory Committee) in both Chair and Deputy Chair roles. As Phil steps down from the Research Committee, we are delighted he will continue to share his wisdom and expertise as a member of the AMSI Advisory Panel, ensuring his impact and guidance remain part of AMSI’s future.
