This Sydney Workshop on Mathematics of Data Science aims to highlight leading-edge research in machine learning and data science, with a particular emphasis on addressing the mathematical, statistical, and computational challenges encountered in these fields,including machine learning, deep learning, and the most recent large AI models. Scheduled to take place at the School of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Sydney from 4th to 6th December 2024, this workshop is set to be a multi-disciplinary platform for collaboration and exchanges ideas.

This event offers an exclusive opportunity for our HDR students and early career academics to engage with world-renowned experts in the mathematics of data science, fostering discussions, networking, and collaborative endeavours among researchers.
