Highly-cited ecologist and biodiversity modeller Professor Jane Elith of the University of Melbourne has been honoured through election to the National Academy of Sciences (NAS) in the United States.
Professor Elith’s expertise in bias correction in species distribution models and point process models for presence‐only analysis has made her a recognised subject matter expert across land-use and improving biodiversity issues.
