SSA Vic & Tas Belz Lecture – Mathematics, Gender and Statistics

For this year’s SSA Vic & Tas branch’s Belz Lecture, we’ll hear from Professor Inge Koch in her talk titled “Mathematics, Gender and Statistics”. To answer the questions “Can girls and boys learn mathematics equally well?” and “Can women be great mathematicians?”, Professor Inge Koch will discuss her work on the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute’s ChooseMaths program. Following the talk in-person attendees are invited to join us for dinner to be held at University House The Woodward.
