AMSI has welcomed the recent announcement that the federal government will co-invest $2 million in its higher education and research training and scholarship programs. AMSI Director, Professor Geoff Prince said the funding would enable the expansion of existing programs with the launch of AMSI Optimise in 2017 along with the linking of internship opportunities to major training events.
