The Sydney Morning Herald has reported on the joint media statement made by the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers (AAMT), the Australian Academy of Science, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mathematics Alliance (ATSIMA), Mathematics Education Research Group of Australasia (MERGA) and the Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) on proposed revisions to the Australian mathematics curriculum.
