Murdoch University is seeking a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer (Statistician) to join their School of Mathematics, Statistics, Chemistry and Physics in Perth, Western Australia.
This continuing full-time academic position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality teaching in Statistics and Data Science at undergraduate and postgraduate levels while developing a strong research profile.
The successful candidate will engage in interdisciplinary and industry-relevant research, contribute to curriculum development, and collaborate across the University to strengthen Statistics and Data Science education and research.
Applicants should hold a PhD in Statistics or a closely related field and demonstrate expertise in statistical theory, modelling, inference, and modern computational tools such as R and/or Python. Visa sponsorship and relocation support may be available for outstanding candidates.
