The Australian Mathematical Sciences Institute (AMSI) has welcomed Jane Street as a sponsor of Summer Research Scholarships (SRS) 2023-24.
AMSI Summer Research Scholarships (previously called Vacation Research Scholarships) support undergraduate students from around Australia to spend their summer holidays working on supervised research projects. Scholars undertake research, build a project, submit a blog post, write a formal research report and present their work at AMSIConnect – the exclusive national student conference held in February.

AMSI programs provide the next generation of mathematicians the opportunity to pursue their interests and be inspired by world leaders in the field. These participants are the future of the research workforce who will help advance society through cutting-edge exploration and analysis.
AMSI Director, Professor Tim Marchant, said the Institute was excited to welcome Jane Street as an SRS sponsor to support the development of Australia’s brightest to pursue research careers.
