ABC World Today, 17 March 2016. Speaking to Lucy Carter, AMSI Director Professor Geoff Prince welcomed the launch of the Australian Academy of Science’s ten-year blue print to improve Australia’s performance in the Mathematical sciences. Developed by the National Committee for the Mathematical Sciences,  The Mathematical Sciences in Australia: A Vision for 2025 outlines key recommendations for government, universities and industry. A member of the committee, Professor Prince told the ABC that mathematics prerequisites were critical to ensure students arrived at universities with the adequate foundations for further STEM study.
